Macho Dancer: A teenage Philipino boy travels to Manila to support his rural family. Taken under the wing of a popular call boy, he enters the glittering world of the 'Macho Dancer' - a world of male strippers, prostitution, drugs, sexual slavery, police corruption and murder. This uncut film is for mature audiences only.
This version is mastered from the sole surviving 35MM print of director Lino Brocka's original version, uncut and uncensored, smuggled out of the Philippines and shown to a limited number of international film festivals. This print is now part of the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The Man Who Drove With Mandela: A creative mix of documentary and fiction, this remarkable film by Greta Schiller (Paris Was a Woman, Before Stonewall) examines the life of little know gay activist Cecil Williams, a white South African who fought against both Apartheid and homophobia in his native country. British actor Colin Redgrave stars as the eloquent Williams, a successful and open Johannesburg theatre producer/director whose home became a center of gay and politically leftist life in the 1940's through the '60s. This was at a time when homosexuality was both criminal and hidden and the separation of blacks and whites the law of the land. Schiller adds interviews with his gay and communist friends, gays and lesbians today and amazing home movies footage in her effort to learn about this man's tumultuous life.

More Tales Of The City: Nothing more or less than six hours of fully outrageous coincidence with some of the most charming characters. A 1970's visual nostalgia of glittering and addictive comedy. That has developed an almost cult like following. The lovelorn residents of 28 Barbary Lane include the bewildered but aspiring Mary Ann Singleton; the libidinous Brian Hawkins; Mona Ramsey, still in a sixties trance; Michael 'Mouse' Toliver in bright eyed pursuit of Mr. Right; and their marijuana growing landlady, the indefatigable Mrs. Madrigal. Thrown into the mix you have other exciting characters such a Mother Mucca an elderly madam of a Brothel; DeDe Day who is expecting twins (but they are not her husbands) and her mother Frannie who is inducted into a sex club for women over 60 called Pinus. It's an addictive miniseries of light amusement and mystery all dressed up in 1970's kitsch. With the right balance of major and minor characters, as well as subplots mixed into the sprawl to provide a welcome detour from the major doings.

My Best Friend's Wedding: Roberts dazzles as commitment-shy Jules Potter, who reluctantly realizes she is in love with her best friend Michael (Mulroney). There is just one catch: he's about to marry someone else. Comically crazed and full of devious plans, Jules will do anything to steal him back... except tell him the simple truth. The real shock for audiences was when this Rupert Everett guy came out of nowhere to essentially steal the movie away from the leads when he hit the screen.
