Kieran Culkin

Born September 30 1982 in New York. Who knew that Kieran Culkin would be the Culkin critics praise a decade after the Home Alone scenario that was McCauley?

McCauley Culkin came onto the scene with films like Uncle Buck and the juggernaut Home Alone establishing him as a child superstar. Meanwhile, in that same juggernaut film, his own little brother Kieran played a small role as Fuller. As the film spawned a sequel Kieran found himself beginning a solid film career.

He was soon cast as Steve Martin's son in Father of the Bride, a film which was also successful enough to spawn a sequel. The real turning point in his career is the critically praised and under seen movie The Mighty with Sharon Stone. From that point on he began landing bigger, more interesting roles.

He played another little brother in She's All That before hitting the drama genre solidly with Music of the Heart and The Cider House Rules.

After The Cider House Rules Kieran seemed to disappear from the Hollywood scene until recently. Kieran returned in a couple of indie flicks: The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys and Igby Goes Down both which show a new direction for Kieran's acting and knack with both humour and drama as well as bringing a lot of critical praise for his performances.
