Anna Faris: Click Here For Anna's Filmography

A helluva lot of you saw Anna Faris break out with her third film. Said film sparked a sequel, actually, as of this writing, two sequels. She starred in Scary Movie, 1 and 2, and is slated for Scary Movie 3 Episode 1 - Lord of the Brooms. With titles like that on her resume it is doubtless she has some sense of humour, or at least one would hope so. If not, she's now earning the bucks to but herself one.

Born November 29, 1976 in Seattle, Washington Anna began her career at a very early age. By the time she was nine she had her first professional credit. She moved easily into improv and was soon performing before the cameras in a series of commercials.

At the age of fifteen she began to move onto bigger projects such as the T.V. movie Deception: A Mother's Secret. There was a break between this and her next film as she finished high school and then studying English Literature at the University of Washington before moving to London to begin working and writing.

However, by the time she was twenty she was returning to the world of acting and found herself cast in films like Eden and Lover's Lane. Now chances are you haven't heard of any of these films, no reason you should have. They weren't box-office smashes, but it was the indie flick Lover's Lane that garnered attention for Faris and she was soon cast in Scary Movie.

Personally, I was never a fan of Scary Movie, you can whine and complain about my lack of humour on another day...I found it tedious...and avoided the second one for the same reason. However, there is obviously a huge fan base and as such, Faris warrants a bio on the site.

In 2002 she starred in May opposite Jeremy Sisto and the Rob Schneider comedy The Hot Chick. Not a bad start right? Well get this, aside from the 3rd Scary Movie flick she also has another project in the works called Lost in Translation. The sophmore film of director Sofia Coppola includes such talents as Bill Murray, Giovanni Ribisi and Scarlett Johansson sharing screen time with Anna.
