Starring: Orson Bean, John Cusack, Catherine Keener, Mary Kay Place, Winona Ryder, Cameron Diaz Synopsis: Craig Schwartz (Cusack) is a puppeteer who has fallen on some hard times. He ends up taking a job on the 7th-and-a-half floor of an office building and stumbles upon a anomaly that leads inside the head of stage and screen actor John Malkovich. There he can see life through Malkovich's eyes before being systematically ejected from the room and onto the New Jersey turnpike. This isn't just a weird idea, it's bloody brilliant and was one of the highlights of a great year in movies...we won't see another year like 1999 for awhile.
