Starring: James Cromwell, Edward Asner, Hal Holbrook, Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Esposito, Chris O'Donnell Synopsis: A very loosy re-make of Buster Keaton's Seven Chances (why do people re-make work they can never, and I mean NEVER top?)
Chris O'Donnell is a commitment-shy bachelor who must rectify his ways if he wants to receive a multimillion dollar inheritance from his deceased grandfather. After ruining a genuine proposal with a pathetic statement, Jimmie Shannon's (O'Donnell) girlfriend Anne (Zellweger) leaves him. When he realizes his grandfather's only stipulation, that he get married by 6:05 on his thirtieth birthday, happens to be the very next day, the hunt is on for a bride-to-be. Armed with his friend (Lange) and a ready-to-marry priest (Cromwell), Jimmie spends the next twenty-four hours tracking down his former girlfriends, trying to find a suitable partner.
