Director: Ang Lee Starring: Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott, Nick Nolte, Eric Bana, Josh Lucas Synopsis: Check out the DVDwolf Comic Book Section for more titles like this, or play our Hulk Trivia as well. In this adaptation of the long-running Marvel comic The Incredible Hulk, research scientist Dr. Bruce Banner's failed experiments cause him to mutate into a monstrously powerful and savage green-skinned behemoth whenever he loses control of his emotions. He is subsequently hunted down by the U.S. military and constantly unappreciated despite his heroic efforts.
When the trailer first appeared at the Superbowl there was a lot of fear but I am putting my faith in two things here. One, Director Ang Lee, no chump when it comes to the silver screen he can make a foreign film like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon soar or he can do a quiet, delicate American film like Ice Storm and be just as effective. A second reason for seeing this flick? Eric Bana, like Hugh Jackman with X-Men, Bana is going to come out of this a star. Excerpted from the DVDwolf Summer 2003 Guide.
