Synopsis: Based on Jane Smiley's novella The Age of Grief. Dave (Scott) and Dana (Davis) Hurst have a typical suburban life, with a busy dental practice and three young daughters to fuss over. Their idyllic situation is threatened after Dave thinks he catches Dana with another man, sending him into a private rage. Then, a difficult new patient (Leary) starts popping up in Dave's hallucinations, offering weird advice on how to handle the situation.
