Synopsis: A Hollywood version of the documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys which explores the growth of the 70's skateboard culture and how it went from a lame pastime to merging with surf culture to produce such luminaries today as Tony Hawk. If you are worried it will be a bastardization of the original documentary take heart. Stacy Peralta who directed the original is helping adapt and write the screenplay.
